where can i find a red or black pushbutton switch that when pushed will connect and when released will connect as well? trying to wire up the sound board for my firing and power down sounds but need the firing sound to come on when the button is pushed and power down sound when the button is released.

no. they are either on/off or off/on. none of the ones they carry are on/on switches.

they are called momentary switches for a reason. the sound chip i have will allow me to push the button and while the button is pushed, will make the firing sound for however long i hold it in. now when i let go of the button, the power down sound comes on but only lasts so long then quits........this is the off position. you have to have the chip wired to an on/off switch anyhow so you dont drain the battery.
